Vigor2800G - 802.11g Compliant Wireless Access
The Vigor2800G router builds on the great specification of the Vigor2800 with the addition of a built-in Wireless Access Point. This wireless interface enabled wireless connection of PCs and supports the new 802.11g high-speed wireless protocol, which is up to 6 times faster than the previous 802.11b protocol, providing a total wireless bandwidth of up to 54Mb/s. Twin extra-gain aerials ensuring maximum coverage range and signal diversity (high-gain aerials are available as an optional extra). Wireless security is an increasing priority; the Vigor2800G has several methods of wireless security (see later). The Vigor2800G also has a built-in 4-port Ethernet switch (expandable) for wired devices so that you can connect wired 10/100BaseT PCs too.
